Magik Juan

A self taught musician and independent artist, Mj played piano, guitar, drums, and base by the age of 16. He first started rapping at the age of 15. Before that, he wanted to be a professional soccer player. In high school, he decided to focus on his rap career, later noting, “It all started in a RV called “The Lazy Daze”, with my homies that I grew up with. They wanted to start rapping, turned out that I was pretty decent. I took it serious so I bought myself a composition book and starting writing.” He originally went by the name Chino and released his first album Feeling Spacely in 2013 at the age of 18. By 2016, he established himself as Magik Juan, and released his first mixtape Life In The Valley with his homie Lendarius whom he considered his brother. After his first mixtape release, he decided to continue his career on his own by releasing 3 more mixtapes Lemonade & Maryjane, Milk & Honey, and Afterlife recorded in a garage with R3nd0 in the same year of 2017. After 2 years in 2019, he released his second album Purple Dreams and stopped making music after releasing his EP Peace in 2020. After being away for so long, he came back opening his business Highlife Entertainment LLC and released Love Yourself in 2023. Now he’s currently working on his upcoming album Recovery releasing this year in 2023.
